It’s anticipated that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud will visit Pakistan sometime this month. Reports suggest he’ll be accompanied by a delegation, and both countries are currently working on confirming the dates for the visit.
This would mark Mohammed bin Salman’s first visit to Pakistan since 2019. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is reportedly personally overseeing the administrative arrangements for the tour and has decided not to undertake any foreign trips until the Saudi crown prince’s arrival.
During his visit, the Saudi crown prince is expected to sign memoranda of understanding (MoUs) to facilitate the implementation of a $5 billion investment in Pakistan. The final date for the visit is expected to be decided this week.
