According to a weather official on Monday, the ongoing hot weather is expected to ease up after three days with the arrival of a westerly weather system in the country.
Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz has forecasted that the current hot weather spell will likely persist for the next three days.
“The hot weather in Karachi towards the end of March is typically caused by dry winds from Rajasthan,” explained the weather official.
A westerly weather system is anticipated to enter Pakistan on March 21. “This westerly wave will bring milder temperatures to Karachi,” Sarfaraz stated.
The meteorological official also mentioned the return of sea winds from the southwest, which usually contribute to pleasant weather in the city.
Sardar Sarfaraz also dismissed the likelihood of a heatwave in the metropolis.
