Pakistan’s space program achieved a significant milestone as the nation’s inaugural satellite, iCube Qamar, transmitted its first images from the moon’s orbit.

Developed by Pakistani scientists and engineers, iCube Qamar captured and relayed its debut image, offering a novel view of the lunar surface.

Seven days post its May 3 launch, the satellite sent its initial image from the moon’s orbit, confirmed by a spokesperson from the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (Suparco). This achievement highlights Pakistan’s progress in space exploration.
