Pakistan and Tajikistan have agreed that holders of official passports will no longer need visas to travel between the two countries.

This decision follows a two-day official visit where Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon met with Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

They discussed enhancing cooperation in trade, agriculture, healthcare, education, and investment. They also addressed the issue of terrorism, acknowledging that both nations face this common threat.

Prime Minister Shehbaz highlighted the importance of joint efforts in combating terrorism. The meeting aimed to strengthen bilateral ties and foster mutual development.
