Interior Minister Naqvi has announced plans to install floodlights at Nawab Akbar Bugti cricket stadium within three months, aiming to bolster cricket in Balochistan.
In his capacity as chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Naqvi affirmed that the PCB will fulfill its commitment to install floodlights by September. Additionally, he disclosed intentions to organize PSL matches in Quetta once the stadium meets the required standards.
During a press conference at Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti Cricket Stadium, Naqvi emphasized the PCB’s commitment to cricket promotion in Gwadar and Quetta.
Chief Minister Bugti expressed gratitude to the interior minister for the initiative, acknowledging that floodlight installation would enhance cricket and sporting activities in the talent-rich province. He affirmed the commitment to providing provincial youth with opportunities at the national level.
