Kia has made a significant move by slashing the price of its Stonic EX+ model by a staggering Rs. 1,500,000. This decision comes in the wake of a market shift, with Peugeot 2008 also reducing its price.
Lucky Motors Corporation (LMC) is marking its five-year anniversary by offering the Stonic at a highly competitive rate of Rs. 4,767,000, down from the previous Rs. 6,280,000.
Despite this price adjustment, other Kia models remain unchanged, suggesting a strategic response to evolving consumer demands.
In addition to the Stonic EX+, Kia has maintained the prices of its other models. Earlier this year, LMC reduced the prices of its Kia Sportage variants without disclosing the reasons behind the move.
The Sportage Alpha, Sportage FWD, Sportage AWD, and Sportage Black Edition have all seen reductions ranging from Rs. 250,000 to Rs. 300,000. This initiative not only reflects the dynamism of the automotive market but also caters to the evolving preferences of consumers amidst economic uncertainties.
Amidst these economic challenges, such price adjustments are anticipated to resonate well with budget-conscious consumers. With Kia leading the charge, the automotive industry is poised for increased competition and enhanced value propositions.
