Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced plans to roll out 65 services through the “Maryam Ki Dastak” mobile application. The services will be available in every district of the province by December 2024.

The application aims to provide citizens with easy access to various services, including domicile, e-stamping, birth, death, and marriage certificates, property tax, token tax, motor vehicle transfer, and new vehicle registration.

The Chief Minister directed the increase of services in Lahore to 40 and then to 65 by August 2024. The “Maryam Ki Dastak” program’s extension plan was presented to the Chief Minister by the PITB chairman.

The services will be available through the mobile app, web portal, or call center 1202. The goal is to make these services more accessible and convenient for citizens.

The launch of “Maryam Ki Dastak” services is a significant step towards digitizing government services in Punjab. The application has the potential to benefit citizens greatly, especially those living in remote areas.

The Chief Minister’s initiative is a welcome move towards improving public service delivery in the province.
