Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has removed Senior Manager Wahab Riaz and Manager Mansoor Rana from their posts due to a lack of discipline during the last three tours of the national men’s team.

This decision follows reports of inappropriate behavior by pacer Shaheen Afridi and an overall decline in team discipline.

The Pakistan Cricket Team recently went on tours in Ireland and England, followed by matches in the United States and the West Indies for the 2024 T20I World Cup.

Despite his behavior, no disciplinary action was taken by the team managers.

The PCB is investigating why the managers failed to address Afridi’s misconduct and the existence of player lobbies within the team, which may have contributed to the internal discord.

Reports from coaches have highlighted a non-serious attitude among some players, exacerbating the team’s issues.
