Sindh Energy Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah announced this initiative during a recent media briefing at his residence, where he also extended Eid greetings.Shah underscored the government’s commitment to addressing local challenges through targeted budget allocations.

He highlighted the ongoing electricity shortages affecting over 200,000 households in Sindh.To tackle this issue, the government plans to electrify 500,000 households annually by providing solar systems capable of powering essentials like a fan and three bulbs to those most in need.

Under the initiative, individuals interested in installing solar systems independently can access interest-free loans, with the government covering the loan interest.
