The Sindh government has proposed up to 30 per cent increase in salaries of the government employees in the provincial budget for Fiscal Year 2024-25.Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah presented the provincial budget during the assembly session on Friday.“We did a detailed work.
We saw that the minimum salary we want to recommend is Rs37,000. If this is the minimum salary then the government employees should also get this amount.
If we were increasing the salary by 25% for Grades 1 to 6 which is the most vulnerable, so the entry-level salary rose to 33,000 after the basic salary of Rs28,000.
