Professor Cho Jae-Weon of South Korea has developed a groundbreaking toilet that not only transforms human waste into energy but also provides users with digital currency incentives.

This innovative toilet system processes each person’s daily 500 grams of feces, producing 50 liters of methane gas, which in turn generates 0.5 kWh of energy.

Users are incentivized with Ggool, a digital currency aptly named “shit coin,” as a reward for their contributions to the energy production process.

Cho’s invention represents a significant leap forward in waste management technology, offering both environmental benefits and an inventive approach to promoting sustainable practices through digital rewards.
